Is there some announcement I missed? Go look at the Gamespot website. The backround is Rock Band... Just wondering.

It's just an ad.

they sell the background as ad space.


The announcement of a new song and the release date change are 2 small reasons.

The main reason is probably because Guitar Hero 3 is coming out in like 2 days...so they want people to save their money and wait til Rock Band comes out

Oh... never saw somebody selling an ad spot as a background before...

buy yea I reserved it at the only gamestop in my area that is doing the midnight release (GH3)

I searched Rock Band and the backround changed to Guitar Hero 3 I swear to god. :(

Well, I searched for a game on GameSpot and the background was for Best Buy with Guitar Hero III..

So yeah, it means nothing. Just an ad.

EDIT: Was beat to it.
