Once Again Microsoft ****s on Canadians! so i go to sign up for this Guitar Hero 3 weekend ( you have to register your gamertag in the database so they know who to give the prizes to) so i click on register gamertag and to my suprise the fine print on the bottom says "To Gamertags Of 50 Legal US States" so i try to sign up for it anyway and it says its not available for my region! i hate when MS does this! it happened with all of there contests i mean come on there are tons of Canadians out there with gamertags dont leave us out in the rain!

If there are prizes, I know Canada has odd rules about them. Basically, you can't win a prize, because that's considered a lottery. To have a contest in Canada, the winners have to correctly answer some basic math question, because then you have earned your prize. My guess is that MS just didn't want to deal with this regulation, since it would need to apply to EVERYONE.

Don't blame MS, blame your own laws.

You know if it was a Rockband contest I could see you being upset. It's only GHIII. I mean who cares these days? Rockband is to GH, GHII, GHRT80s like Rogue Trip is to Twisted Metal and Twisted Metal 2. They company that Made teh games great got booted but some overhead company and now the franchise is either gonna fail or survive based on how well they can mimic the original production company. I mean it sucks that Microsoft hate Canada, but they love all the money they make off you. Of Course Microsoft has never been about the customers, it is all about putting out a product as cheap and fast as possible while charging an outragous price for it that you will have to wait for 5 years to get all the updates so that it was finally run properly. I mean when you are dealing with a company like that is there really any reason you should feel bad that you are being excluded for some silly *** contest. Sorry about the little rant there but I have friends that had the X-Box and had to send them in to get fixed. The same friends got the 360 system and those never worked for them, one even caught fire. Now they have the systems that are working better, but they ended up spending $800 just so they could have a 360 that wasn't going to burn down their house. Now I am looking at getting a 360 one day, but I think that I will hold off for a little longer. I did buy the PS3 and I am still waiting for the one title I bought that system for. Metal Gear Solid 4: Sons of the Patriots. Nice thing is that if the 360 upgrades their DVD driver to the HD-DVD drive, Metal Gear Solid 4 will also be on the 360, or so I heard. That is just rumor, don't put to much stock into it.

My first 360 was off ebay...it was bought in Canada.

Worked for almost 2 years, then I had to send it in.

I'm on my 3rd now.

Gonna get a 4th, once I'm guranteed the new chip and I need HDMI and a bigger HD

If it weren't for Canada we wouldn't have the NHL, so at least one good thing has come out of Canada. Besides, it's only a matter of time before Canada and Mexico are assimillated into an American Union. And about the war, you guys were in support of going into Iraq.
