First of all I'm glad to say that my constant pestering to get Nirvana in the game was worth it. Obviously thats not the reason they got in but its nice to at least feel like my voice was heard. In Bloom is gonna be amazing. But on to my question.....

I dont know if this has been answered or not but I was wondering if you could play guitar, or bass and drums, and do the vocals also. I would think this would be a yes but I was just wanting confirmation. Or maybe you cant tell me yet, just wanted to ask. The game sounds like its gonna be awesome. I cant wait till my GI gets here.

Before yesterday I would've said obviously, but with the whole mic doubling as a tambourine thing, I'm not so sure anymore. I hope so, though.

I'm sure you could just play Co-Op

BTW, I don't think the Tamborine is needed. They said just for those long solos.

Even if it's not an actual option to choose "single player guitar + singing" you can just go to 2 player mode, choose guitar for 1st player and singing for second player then rock out somethin crazy.

Yeah I think the tambourine will be an optional thing.

But I predict the mic will look like a traditional mic, so if you have an available mic stand then go for it. If not, I'm not sure how you would do it.

You can use a Headset.

Personally, I think with all I've heard about the vocals section of the game, playing both at the same time will be too complicated. Keeping an eye on the lyrics if you don't know them, freeform singing, and some intense guitar sections... Maybe I'm just really bad at Guitar Hero, but it sounds a bit too much for me.

You can use a Headset.

Headset doesn't work for RB.

I went to GameStop today and reserved RB and 1 Guitar Controller, and the Mic.
I really hope that the sound of the strum button being pressed wont register on the Mic. I plan to play Bass and sing Vocals, with my cousin playing Guitar, and my roommate on drums.(Thats the way it goes when we play real instruments). I just hope I get Ace of Spades at least as a downloadable song, cuz Lemmy plays Bass and sings Vocals and he is my biggest inspiration musically.

I'm not reserving for two reasons.

1. Wii
2. Christmas

I'm wondering why vocals doesn't get rhythm guitar as well. It could just be a normal GH/GH2 controller without those fancy new solo frets, and the lead vocals could just play an easier track. It would be much more realistic, and make the game feel more complete.

Well I'm a big Nirvana fan so knowing the words to In Bloom isnt an issue.....
