Possible Desired Feature

It would have been nice if Rock Band (or Rock Band 2) would have an option to display the lyrics in a "closed captioned" or karaoke-style fashion even when no one is doing a vocal performance.

This would let people who want to learn the words or sing along without playing in band mode sing along while watching someone else actually play drums or guitar in solo mode.

I don't know if it's been brought up before, but just throwing this out there!

I think this is a really good idea. I know that others watching would probably love to be able to either sing along or at least learn the words themselves. And the way the game breaks up the syllables for the vocalist, it's just not conducive to learning the song...

Not even what he was asking about... He wants lyrics to appear for others to sing, but doesn't require someone to actually be singing and pass the song. Basically, a feature for parties.

I like this idea. It would be a great way to learn the lyrics without having to worry about learning the pitch as well.
