They should an Elvis logo or picture or something on that screen.

At least that would make you laugh once in awhile.

Would you prefer that they do what Brawl does and just have the computer take over without you knowing?

Or a randomly generated lolcat. That would make you laugh everytime.

Good idea, but they should have a random Harmonix employee toon replace your opponent's toon. If you're lucky, you get the crappy Harmonix player. If you're unlucky, you get their best.

Are the other players losing at the time? If so, perhaps you might consider trying to suck more, since obviously that is what 80% of the douches you play with are expecting.

If you care only about the "win" (e.g., TrueSkill Score), then don't worry it will count for your stats. If you're achievement-whoring, then you may want to occasionally break your streak if your opponent is really behind. It sucks and seems highly unnecessary, but sometimes it's the only way to keep some of these players in the match.

I just like to hear the songs. I may be doing a score duel, but I also like making it through b/c I just enjoy the music.

When I start getting pretty far ahead, like the above poster said, I'll just break the NS to get them to keep playing. That's typically the only way to prevent them from quitting.
