Just to let everybody know, GameStop has finally changed their release date for Rock Band from the Nov. 23 date to Nov. 20 as it should be. Apparently, news travels slow but, at least the wrong has been righted. Just thought I'd let everyone know as I understand there were some problems about a week ago with GameStop customer service not quite understanding what was going on. Something about Nintendo wasn't going to change the date just because customers asked them to. I don't know, something crazy like that. But anyways, date's been changed!

I just got back from Gamestop, I put money towards Rock Band. But I didn't dare ask him anything about Rock Band, just because I knew it would be a mouth full of $#@! :D

You should've. Even if just for a laugh. I wonder why some GS had it still listed as the 23rd. Mine was showing the 20th many weeks ago. :confused:

The retail and online parts of gamestop are two seperate entities. Barely have anything to do with eachother.

I had to call Gamestop.com yesterday to change the credit card on my pre-order, and the guy was like, "yeah that should be shipping tomorrow I think." I just said OK thanks and hung up :D

Starts shipping to where on the 6th? The guy was trying to tell me that the game would be shipping to me today...obviously not correct.

To our stores. We got GH3 about a week and a half in advance and they said they would need about 2 and 1/2 weeks for RB to make sure the bundles are delivered in time. They start shipping them out on the 6th and we should get them around the 10-12th. Gamestop/EB Games

Oh ok...well like I said the guy (who was obviously confused with GH3) told me the game would ship to me today, which I knew was wrong.

I stopped by my local Gamestop today to pay off my preorder of Rock Band and the guy there said that they have about 150 preorders so far and that they expecting to fulfill all of them in their 1st shipment, I preordered back in August so i'm all good, but 150??? :eek: Not sure where they would put all of those, he also said they had almost 200 preorders for Halo 3 also.

maybe, but my brother was there for the midnight launch for Halo 3 and he said there were about that many for that, but yea I thought 150 was away more, considering I'm from St. Cloud, MN where the surrounding area is about 120,000. I could see 50, I'll ask again on Sunday when I go and pick up GHIII.

i wouldnt be surprised if the stores rented out little storage spaces somewhere and left em there til the night before
