Okay, those actually do look pretty cool since they tie into the game's art work well. They're still too expensive to bother with unless you really want the Rock Band brand. Some people will like the novelty factor. Personally, I hope my first set of drumsticks never breaks.

Wow, those are both really pretty looking. Glad to see them getting away from the nylon "backpack strap" on the Xplorer.
Are these official parts or some 3rd party knockoffs ?

i suppose the straps are reasonably priced, but i'll end up using an old one i have lying around. the sticks...i guess you really have to be a fan to buy those. if i lose the set that comes with the bundle i'll just get another pair from the music store for a dollar.

I like the Ahead sticks (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Ahead-Drumsticks?sku=445200). They already have so many signature series, I hope they do a Rock Band series. :D

Does anyone sell softer material drum sticks?
I only ask in that in may lessen the CLACK CLACK CLACK of playing the drums.

I'm sure that you could use some heavier-duty brushes (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/navigation?q=drum+brush) just fine. Like the Vic Firth Rock brushes...
