Okay, so I just got done watching the video for TTFATF here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4M7f4-bhbE), and I must say... Neversoft definitely dropped the ball.
First of all, they put a lot of the keyboard parts as guitar parts (listen and watch the original music video, you'll see what I mean). This makes it more fun, but less authentic. They used the album version of the song as well, which sucks compared to the single, which has a longer, harder solo.
Also, the fact that this dude 5* 91%'ed this song before the f***ing game is even out, when it took people months to do even half that on Jordan... something's not right here. :(

the beginning is in fact from a guitar. from the designer of the game himself
"Fine, I'll clarify for you then There actually is no keyboard in the intro (there is but it's mostly ambience). The intro is in fact, a classical and spanish guitar sound mixed together to make this beautify of an intro. I would know, I did track the chart, and I have heard only the this part of the song split out. You will also notice this on GuitarPro tabs. That is all."
Also you have to remember that players now are alot better at guitar hero now then when gh2 came out. I mean i started on medium for gh2 but on gh3 i'm starting on expert and i figure alot of people are going to be starting on a higher difficulty that in gh2.

About the first paragraph: interesting. I guess I'll take his word for it until I hear otherwise or see some other facts.
On the second: yeah, you're definitely right about that. But have you played GH III yet? The hammer-ons are significantly easier than GH I and II.

oh yeah i definetely agree on that. i got to play both rock band and guitar hero 3 at the world cyber games and the hammerons and pull offs are much easier.

Yep. That song still seems fun though, regardless of my complaints.

Well it's actually impossible to fail it the first time you play it (I would guess so anyway as there's no rock meter, star power or anything else like that) so it's got that goin at least.
