I feel dead inside after spoiling the whole main setlist. Now a month without on disk tracks to speculate. The board won't be the same. I feel like they might as well release the game tommorow.

How do you guys feel? Am I alone?

Nope, gives me a month to learn all the lyrics :)

I was about to post the same thing. I'm thinking I wont even go near the rock band demo at best buy because on release day I wont have that urgency and excitement to play the game anymore if I already play all the songs and stuff.

What are we going to talk about now?

Hey, what about the Best Buy demo?

EDIT: Sorry AVC didn't see your post.

Seriously! The game's done, BB has full setups, songlist has been released, post BB demo I expect vids to be flying left and right.

Well only a few more weeks. Wish there were more unlockables to look forward to.

Well, there's still bonus tracks to announce (not that interesting) and maybe more features (small ones) yet to be announced...

EDIT: Also, the instruments may not be ENTIRELY finished... see this (http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/830/830759p1.html).

See? Thank you Apples.

My thing is as cool DLC is it's always there. Not the same as on disc.

Maybe at this point I just need to get my hands on it. That or hear some awesome(!) bonus tracks (Vagiant, Royal Crowns, That Handsome Devil, Neighborhoods, The Long Blondes, Von Bondies, The Beets, got a million of 'em).

Hey Xzyl, check this out bro! BB doesn't have the full game after all! Nazriel's post.

Ahh I miss the magic of not knowing what tracks were in Rock Band. Where there was still a fools hope for some Guns and Roses, AC/DC and Led Zeppelin and where Fall Out Boy was a band that was only mentioned in "Bands that should never be in Rock Band' threads.

Ehh... don't worry. GnR, AC/DC and surely LZ will be DLC... maybe...eventually.

Ah, I remember chiming in on every "Welcome to the Jungle for Rock Band" thread and saying "No way Paradise City would be way better!" But now I would gladly take Welcome to the Jungle over Fall out Boy or The Killers.

I'm not getting RB for the setlist. I like some of the songs but most of them are meh.

I'm getting it for the band play and future awesome stuff.

Definitely. True that brother.

The setlist is important, but it's not gonna stop me from laying down my $170. The rest of the features (and the other good songs) are what matters most.

Announcing this would more than make up for the dissapointment of the final few tracks (Run to the hills is awesome though)

Looking at the lack of metal Iron Maiden is great. Wait where's the guy with an Iron Maiden avatar? He needs to join me in basking ourselves with win. Iron Maiden fans unite!

Now I feel like there's little reason to check in on the forums everyday for a while. I can't wait to play this thing, but I guess I can finally not be obsessive about it anymore since the main setlist has been completely revealed, lol.

You can still speculate about DLC which should be interesting. They are going to want to keep releasing interesting stuff to keep interest up (and increase profits). Each new DLC song/album has the potential to interest another buyer, so I would expect some fantastic songs to come down the pipe in the coming months.

I just hope it doesn't turn out like the Virtual Console, where every Monday I get my hopes up for Super Mario RPG or a surprise choice like a Shining Force game or Breath of Fire II, and instead get TurboGrafx Shooter #28 or (now) NeoGeo Fighting Game #91832 ;)

I'm with you. RB was in Amherst, MA yesterday, which is about a ten minute drive from me, but I chose not to go. And I also choose not to partake in any demo.

The anticipation will make the payoff all the more sweeter. So I'm not going to play, let alone observe, any real gameplay until the game is mine and in my hands on the 20th.

I was just thinking about this. I'm kinda glad that some of the epic songs in the game weren't on the tour (and I'm assuming BB demo) and that the gameplay footage has been limited.

Knowing the songs is one thing, but the charts are going to a surprise. (The exact opposite of GH3; I've seen most of the expert charts now.)

Seeing the game & being able to play a few songs when the Tour came to Seattle was the thing that actually got me REALLY hyped for this game. Both my girlfriend and I were HOOKED after playing 1 song. (We then decided to skip the first 30 minutes of the concert we were at just to sit & play)

If anything, I think checking out the demos will get you MORE excited, not less. :D
