I just hope they can open to a better range of songs than that with the full thing.

I'd prefer they get started on a user-created song system. I know they won't be able to cater to every single persons whims and desires. I say just give us some sort of software to do it and turn us loose.

i got my doubts personally. your using your own website as a credible source, and that does not bode well.

i'm more curious as to how you found out what the tracks would be considering harmonix (as far as i know) hasnt made any announcement.

Its real, they released a ton of info in the new Game Informer. Player Creation, instrument info, and tons of other stuff. I'm pretty sure its legit because someone was asking people to scan the Game Informer and post it and Sean said to not scan it because that stuff is copyrighted and it would get them into legal trouble. That sounds like confirmation to me.

It'd never happen. Since this is mainly an online game, there would have to be some way of sharing the created songs. And if you're distributing copyrighted songs over the internet without paying royalties? Someone is in something deep, and seeing as it would have been Harmonix who distributed the software that allows people to do so, guess where record labels are going to be looking for answers from?

Unless, of course, you mean create original songs, but not only would that be extremely difficult without some pretty fancy software (and even with it, really), you still face the problem when six hundred thousand people end up making Stairway to Heaven.

I saw a confirmation from Sean in one thread.

It's a dumb to cite yourself as your source, but he's right, it has been confirmed.

They do, but the issue hasn't hit the street yet. The only people with it are subscribers.

I can'tto play Won't Get Fooled Again. The only problem with the song is the long organ parts where there's no other instruments from 6:40 to 7:30 but then the insane drum parts kick in. The song is epic though.

There's no real reason for this topic to exist. The songs, plus all of the info. that no one wants to visit your site for, is already in this one...

In fact, that topic should probably be stickied.
