Transferring Character to Another Band

Hello Rock Band community,
I actually recently joined this forum so i'm sure this has been asked a number of times. I have created my own character on my own rock band and xbox 360, but I would like to transfer him over to my friend's 360/Rock Band game to so i can use him in the band that we have created on his 360. Now I am pretty sure you can transfer characters as long as you use a xbox 360 memory card but i was wondering if i would be able to use him in the band that we created. (i would also have my gamertag recovered on his 360 as well). thanks - BYRN3D

Yep, you sure can. Done it many times :)Question: Do you actually "transfer" the character to the other band, or do you simply log in with your transferred gamertag and "sit it" with the band?

In other words, does this actually change the "Band Roster" or is it just the new character jamming with the band?

You can do it either way. If you want to change the Band Roster, just go to that screen, and click the slot where you want the new character to be. It'll say "Substituted by Blah". When you click there, it'll ask if you want to remove the current member, say Yes.

Then click there again and it'll ask if you want to add the new guy, say Yes.

Boom, done, Band Roster changed to add the new guy from the 2nd profile :)
