I am considering adding another 360 to my arsenal of hardware so I can have one upstairs and one downstairs.
My question relates specifically to Rock Band, as this game takes up about 99% of my gaming time.
Will I have to pay for my DLC twice? Or will I just be able to recover my gamertag downstairs and re-download the songs at no charge?
Anyone have any experience with this?
Ultimately, I'd like to have all of the songs downloaded on both the upstairs and downstairs 360's available for play at any given time. I'm ok with having to recover my gamertag between the two if that's a requirement.
Thanks for any help in advance.

If you recover your gamertag and download them to the other console, you MUST be signed on to that gamertag to play them. Also, when you go back to your first console, you'll have to recover your gamertag again, and recover it each time you switch consoles. It's kind of a pain in the ass.

Your DLC is licensed to the console you downloaded it on, and to your gamertag. Which means that your new 360 won't have access to the DLC (even if you download it or swap hard-drives or what have you) unless you're logged into the gamertag which purchased that song/pack/album. This will preclude you from being logged in with the other one, though it will have full access irrelevent of the gamertag. I'm not sure what happens if you log in with the validated gamertag on another console and you're logged in with a different tag on the primary console.
