So if you read the gameinformer article then you would know that they announced some features that will be in Rock Band 2. I was wondering your guy's opinion's and such. Please, discuss. Discuss away!

(IDK if I included most of the features and if single player BWT is confirmed)

I love the fact that almost everything is 1-4 people and online. That way I can have tons of fun without a friend being over.

The medal pedal, cymbals, and playing over mp3's are my favorite being a drummer. BUt pretty much everthing so far has been a good feature.

I'll have to agree with that last thing, there hasn't been a feature announced that I've just kind of shrugged off; they've all blown my mind. I voted on the ION kit.

The songs. Features are great but its all about the music without it, it wouldnt matter what little features were added. I do like the non-linear solo tour idea alot though.

I just voted for the whole damn thing.:p

Others would be creating setlists, new setup for tour mode, no more band leader, and switching to any instrument with your character.

I love it all so far(though I could stand one or two more of my favorite songs, as I only got one; good enough though).

Online bwt.

My best buddy lives on the other side of the states. Us being able to play RB2 together with our own band? Pure win.

This is a great time to be a drummer. I personally play guitar as my main instrument, but with this news I'm really excited to get back into drums... velocity sensitivity, cymbals, less noise, more bounce are all great.... the drum trainer sounds awesome!!! I'd really like to learn about drumming from the drum trainer, especially fills.. I feel like I've progressed far in my fills from when I first picked up the game; I now try to keep a beat in my fills, but they're still rather lackluster, but hey it's better than a noob fill --- you know what I'm talking about:

Anybody who has ever let a beginner play drums knows that their idea of a drum fill is to simply go temporarily insane. Arms flailing and beating the drum kit to s*** with as many stikes as they can muster without losing grip of the sticks (and sometimes even doing that)...about half of their whacks hit a pad, the rest 'tick' off the body of the kit and sound awful... you're just sitting there hoping they don't hit the pause button or worse... break your instrument.

So I'm really excited for the drum trainer and the freestyle mode! I'm also ears open to the details of the ION kit...because it's just F|_|CI<1NG SEXY!!!!111!!!

I'd love to invest in that....and if I do I might not have enough spare cash for GHWT! Like I care anymore!! Screw 'song creation'...pffffft.

I'm also really loving Jukebox mode. I'll admit I've spent time in the RB1 menus simply listening to the 20 second clips of each song...not picking any, just moving from song to song using the menu as a faux jukebox. I LOOVE THIS IDEA!

As guitar is my main instrument I'm really loving the newsexy and quieter strat, but I'll have to play with it first to tell.

Pretty much everything has been amazing so far... I'm not gonna lie.

Online BWT, Battle of the Bands for Other

Also, Jukebox mode (I already have a Rock Band playlist on iTunes, now I can watch my band play it too. Was something I was going to request).

Bass Tour (So I can see my recorded Bass scores and having something to go after, instead of having to flip to the leaderboard each time).

Challenges (Sounds almost like Forza 2! So I'm hoping for leaderboards for each of these challenges/cities/albums, and having those leaderboards on the selection screen as a little window like Forza 2)

Not listed, but backwards compatible DLC is the real win.

And online BWT!

And everything is super sweet as well!

I only chose my favorite (Single Player BWT), but all the features are really interesting...as someone posted on pg. 1, which made me think of this, I always just put it on practice and listen to the songs. So, jukebox mode is kind of exciting.

I think the cooliest thing is the Ion drumset. Being a drummer has never been better right now. :D I was already planning on getting a new set soon now I can just get an electronic one that'll work with rockband! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

You can , make a setlist and the characters will perform a music video of it with no charts or anything

Hands down single player BWT is the best feature I've seen. Being able to play with friends on a World Tour has been a blast but it's sometimes a pain in the butt to either get friends to come over or vice versa. I'd buy RB2 just for that feature alone. Everything else is just gravy!!! :D

Setlists. Full album play (glad I got the full albums for Judas Priest and The Cars!). I can't wait!

Everything everything everything. This is going to be an amazing game.

Drum trainer, No-fail mode (you know, for kids), and everything added to BWT.

Nope, you just clicked the option to allow people to vote more than once.

Single Player BWT! It's too hard for me to get anyone to come over during the times that I'm free to play.

I'm really interested in how these challenges play out. Sounds like a very fun feature to add even more replayability to a highly replayable game.

I voted for a few, plus other:

Real DLC integration. Tour challenges. Battle of the Bands mode. And most of all: Better sorting method (scrolling through the list is horrible).

Yes, the new song finding method is much appreciated.:)

Wait....you can block songs you dont want to play?

bonethug0108

Wait....you can block songs you dont want to play?

Well they didn't mention how it works exactly, but they gave a cryptic response to a question about that went something like, "Now you don't have to worry about metallica popping up when playing with your mom."

Very paraphrased, but the point is they never said you can block specific songs or if you just block a group of songs.

My guess is that you pick the tier of the mystery setlist. All other tiers are then blocked out.

But that's just a wild guess.
