I just looked at wikipedia and it said dead on arrival by fall out boy is on rock band. Please tell me someone just made that up. Please

boooooooooooo quit putting emo bands on the game. The thing that worries me is that i read there is a punk marathon set list in the game. There is no real punk music on the game!

boooooooooooo quit putting emo bands on the game. The thing that worries me is that i read there is a punk marathon set list in the game. There is no real punk music on the game!

The Clash and Ramones. Include bonus and there's Vagiant and Acrobrats. Doesn't look like that'll be much of a marathon even including FOB. I suppose Sabotage,Next to You and Ballroom Blitz could be included but that's really stretching it.

Even as a FOB fan, i can think of about 10 other songs i'd rather have on RB than DOA

Agreed. Grand Theft Autumn would've been better if they wanted something older. Personally, I'd prefer Nobody Puts a Baby in the Corner or XO.

And people need to realize that this game is made for alot more people than just you. Do you know how many emo kids are going to buy this? Quit *****ing and just sing a different song.

I think Nobody Puts Baby wouldn't be half bad
when i contemplated FOB for RB, i pictured one of their newer songs, so everyone should be lucky it was one of their, older, punk songs

Take This To Your Grave: Tell That Mick..., Grand Theft Autumn, Chicago

Cork Tree: Most anything really, I Slept With Someone... is a personal favorite

Infinity: Honestly nothing, it's just not right for the game

Who knows, maybe we'll see some DLC. (I know a lot of you guys hate FOB, but the songs have a lot of energy and they definitely "rock" if you just let yourself enjoy it)

I was going to say they should offer the whole Cork Tree album. And yea I don't see many Infinity on High songs being good for this.

There is a reason FOB is in this game, and it's because it will be HUGE fun to sing FOB songs, because Patrick Stump's vocal melodies are top notch.

it is just one song, but is a terrible song by a overrated,over-markerted teeny bopper **** band. why they couldnt find another reasonable choice to take its place is beyond me.

I don't think that it's possible for me to disagree more with the above statement, but I'll submit that I'm not entirely disgusted (but still mostly disgusted) by the inclusion of Fall Out Boy. It would be foolish for anyone to believe that their choice will elicit universal praise, and the necessity - and implicit negatives - of Harmonix choosing this buffet-style management of their initial setlist is unavoidable. The problem will arise should DLC content prove to be as mainstream and predictable as the setlist has proven to be thus far. The DLC should provide an excellent opportunity to personalize your game to your hearts content, should your interests range from Fifty Foot Hose (ha, yeah) to Clap Your Hands and Say Yeah. Will it? That remains to be seen. But it's a large reason that I'm even considering this investment.

And make no mistake about it: Rock Band is an investment, something whose true value lies yet untapped in the future.

I mean I hate FOB, but I can get past it being on the game. for having FOB it's not a terrible choice. I'm at least pleased it's not a newer glossed over radio song.

Get over yourself. FOB songs are great for the game, and I hope to see some DLC. I don't think they are the most talented band ever, but neither was Nirvana. In both cases, the songs are enjoyable and that's all that should matter.

Nirvana defined a generation, and has stood the test of time. FOB is the flavor of the week.

I agree with the whole "shut up and deal with it" argument because personally, I like FoB and I'm glad they're in the game. But don't compare them to Nirvana. It's just wrong and will just make it worse for us FoB fans.
