View Full Version : Will Bass and Guitar be separated on the Difficulty list?

One thing that bugged me when playing in Quick Play on Guitar/Bass was that the songs were in the same difficulty tier no matter which instrument you chose. It's clear that the difficulty only applied to the guitar.
Just wondering if they plan on separating the two in RB2 or was this announced yet and I just missed it.

I don't know the answer to that question but I wouldn't mind hearing it if you know what I mean. I'll stay and listen and add my input.

im pretty sure in quick play, that difficulty was the 'band' difficulty, not the guitar.

I don't think so. I have had different difficulty lists when I set up a whole band as opposed to just one instrument.

when your in solo quickplay it's the difficulties for whatever instrument your doing .

RB2 setlist will be set up like the music store where you can see the difficulty per each instrument (source: the new game informer article). therefore, i imagine they would divide the song based on 1-10 difficulty by the amount of tiers. perhaps they would average the difficulty based on what instruments are played in multiplayer settings.

Is a favourite-list planned in Rock Band 2? I'm tired to scroll down trough all that DLC...
I would already be happy if you can sort the songs in favourites and non-favourites.

I agree... If you go into quick play on the drums it is drum dificulty, if you go in on Guitar it is guitar difficulty. Only bass is it not... it is guitar difficulty with an option to pick bass.
Hard to say how it will be set up in RB2. Heck, who cares when you can creat your own setlist anyways. That takes care of the quick play problem....

Cool. I hope these playlists can be saved?

Maybe... as your music library continues to grow, then saving some fave set lists will save some serious time....
