intermintent lag issues on new tv.

i just recently bought a 46" sony xbr5, and have changed from the composite cords to hdmi to feed the new tv. since i have changed when playing songs the notes slow down and kinda fuzz a bit while im playing.. i changed the calibration settings, to no avail. any help would be appreciated.

i have the xbr4... go into your video settings on your TV and change your HDMI input channel to "Game/Text Mode"
