This would be an awesome feature imo. What do you think?
Pick a setting: Bar, small venue, large venue, football stadium, arena, dome, etc...
Choose lighting effects: How many lights, what triggers them (bass drum, guitar riffs, etc...). Also pick colors.
Fireworks: Pick fireworks to shoot out during your show.
Posters: Customized band posters hanging in the venue.
Seating: Will everybody have chairs? Will it be a giant mosh pit? Some of both?
Fog: Speaks for itself
Projectors/Tvs: In the background zooming in on the concert.
Props: Snakes hanging from the walls, dancers coming out, gwar-like blood being splattered on people's faces etc...
Sound: Is it going to sound normal, like the cd version? Are the drums going to overpower everything? Is the bass going to make your ears bleed? Is the voice going to travel across the ocean?
Whatchu think?

That's actually a cool idea. I'd love to see something like that. That way I don't have to keep playing in Tokyo. :p

It would be kind of like the create your own enternce from WWE games. Id waste a whole lot of time doing that. Would be fun to do though.

I think that it's a cool idea. Kind of like the character creator.

Awesome as it would be, something would have to give in another department to be able to fit all that.

Sports Stadiums are a must have for the England venues. Just the other day a bunch of my friends went to Iron Maiden at Twickenham rugby stadium and then before that Bon Jovi at Saint Mary's football stadium, and numerous bands play at Wembly all the time. Big bands thrive of playing these massive stadiums we need some of them.

That would be great. Throw in choice of various decorations and colors of parts of the venue and I'm sold.

That would be awesome. Especially the GWAR like blood effects!!

The only trouble with that would be the limited amount of effect available. I honestly would prefere an amount of venue DLC packs...

YES!
I actually posted this idea in the "choose 1 thing" thread a while ago. If it makes it into Rock Band 2, it will be (even) more awesome.
Go to the thread and show your support for this

i can see it now...
30 minutes later, the venue is complete, and you feel accomplished and ready to rock, and everyone else lost interest.

It doesn't seem "realistic" to be able to do that unless you had to use your money to pay for all that stuff. That would actually be cool though. Because if you used all your money on fancy stage stuff rather than new instruments and clothes, you could get more fans and therefore more money from playing shows. So yeah, I think it could be cool that way.

^ Yeah, you'd probably need to pay for it.
