my friend has almost all DLC for Rock Band, so i bought a memory card from Gamestop and transfered every song from his to mine and the songs dont show up, i checked my memory they are there, how do i make then work???

They will ONLY work on his Xbox because he is the one who paid for them, they will not show up on yours because you did not legally purchase the songs from your console.

For those songs to work, the gamertag that purchased them must be logged into XBL.

actualy, when you download something it says this is to the ownership and if it is transferd with a memory unit it is to the new ownership of that person

no thats piracy either your friend needs to log into xbox live on your xbox console or you have to buy them

It's in the same boat as, if you aren't logged onto the internet via XBox live you will not be able to play the songs that you have purchased...
