Hmm, its a battle between 70s and 80s for me.
My fave band had their best songs in the 80s, but then I do love to listen to 70s hard rock more than anything else (except for my fave band obviously).
I could also say the 90s too, I love my grunge/alternative too and a bit of Madchester music too.
2000s......although I like some albums and songs from the decade, I dont think it really contains as much quality new music as the rest.
60s.....just not my decade. I think it has excellent music, but the 70s were the real step up for my music tastes.

The decade of Hard Rock, Arena Rock and Prog Rock... The 70s.
Yeah, Kansas, Boston, Zeppelin, Floyd, Rush, Deep Purple... Best decade ever.

I can't really say, theres still awesome rock and metal music out there that comes out all the time. You just gotta know where to look (definitely not on MTV or VH1)

Probably the majority of my favorite bands come from the 80's and 90's, but that is just because that is the era I grew up in.
Every decade has its great music, some are just harder to find than others.
