USB Hub for PS3?

Hi guys.

I have a question. Can you use every normal PC USB Hub on a PS3?

Because I'm going to buy a PS3, but it seems as if I will only be able to get the new 40GB model, which only has 2 USB slots. Rockband however, needs more than 2 ports for all instruments.

It would be best to get either the Rock Band USB hub or any powered USB hub. Just don't get one that isn't powered because all those instruments will eventually drain too much power from your console. and to answer your question, yes. You can use any USB hub/extender with anything that has a USB port.

As far as I know there will be no USb hub for the Ps3 version.

Well, however, thanks but I don't need it anyway anymore, I found one of the last available 60GB models!! :)

There is an USB HUB out for RockBand already it works with X360/Ps3 and Pc it was posted a while back
