Will the RB2 microphone be wireless?

After reading the official announcement, I'm not so sure. While HMX touts both the guitar and drums as being wireless, the only statement regarding the mic is:

"Microphone showcases authentic styling and weight."

Hmmm. I know the new third party MadCatz mic will be wireless and includes the controller/buttons - so I may have to end up getting that. The wireless mic may mean the difference between me getting the bundle, or just getting the upgraded drums/game and buying the MadCatz mic, sticking with my GH3 Les Paul and old strat for guitar/bass.

Anyone heard otherwise?

It would just be kinda strange to have all wireless instruments in the bundle, except for the mic. I dunno, I think it would be a lot more fun to have a wireless mic - it gives the singer the same freedom as the guitarists...

Madcatz mic is wired. You got my hopes up there but when I went back to checked the information I had read (http://www.rockbandmods.net/news/mad-catz-rock-band-instruments-releasing-next-week) awhile back it said it was wired. I wish I could get a wireless mic too. I want everything to be wireless so I can put my glass door back on my entertainment center. Plus the controller built in is a great convience.

I just wish they'd start shipping stuff so people can review their stuff.

Damn... you're right. For some reason I remember it as being wireless (doesn't help they crop the wire out of the photo). I read that same article too; guess I just assumed when they said that there would be wireless versions of the wired instruments available at a later date, it included the microphone... oops!

I guess nobody has a wireless mic then... except for the mods.
