Best Buy = NO PREORDER?!?!?!

So I went to my local best buy today here in CA and no one, I mean NO ONE had any clue whether or not they would be doing a preorder for rock band. I thought you could already pre order it from some stores? If so then why wouldn't best buy have pre orders yet?

They have the demo out to play but no preorder? STUPID!

It's the same way on BestBuy.com, I haven't checked with the Best Buy here because I'm going to be pre-ordering from GameStop, but I'll bet they've got no clue either. Best Buy's not all that bright at times, give 'em a week to get on their feet.

I would do GAmeStop too but Best Buy rewards program just sent out some coupons. One five dollar off coupon and a 10% off any regularly priced game......it does say it doesn't include game hardware on the back of the coupon but this bundle pack should still qualify...I hope....that would be a savings of like $21 since they allow you to use more than one coupon at the same time.

holy crap! i just signed up for best buy rewards yesterday! how long did it take to receive those coupons and your card? im definitely goin with best buy or wal-mart

You can print them from the web yourself. That way, you don't have to wait over 3 weeks for them to get to your house.

Don't know. BB is ******ed. They don't even know when they will have a preorder.. . . . yet their website shows a preorder for the GAME ONLY but not the bundle....but I thought it was annouced that rock band initially was only being released in the bundle pack . . . not by itself.

They once had a preorder site up for Rock Band, but it listed the game at something ridiculous like $59.99. Naturally, hundreds of people took them up on the deal which they would later retract.

They chose not to honor their policy on preorders, and instead comped the people $5 for their trouble. Needless to say, they haven't listed it again.
