Am I? I think it would be fun to rap (I'd do that before singing... I suck at singing) and Rage has some really great songs. I'd like to see No Shelter, Guerilla Radio, or Renegades of Funk. All of those sound fun and have tough Guitar and Bass in them
Thoughts?

Meh, I'm not a huge Rage fan, but the more DLC the better. I'd probably get a song or two if nothing else was up.

Hell yeah I'd love some rage! Imagine if they released an album for download or something? That would be awesome!

They'd be great.
It seems you missed the "Ultimate Setlist" board however, and this kind of thread really belongs there.

I've been wanting some Guerrilla Radio for a while, since it's the only song besides Bulls on Parade that i have heard from them.
I agree, the more diverse the music genres, the more people it appeals, the more money they get and they make the fans happy.
Besides it's gonna be a challenge to rap Zack de la rocha (is that his name?) style.

Know your enemy, Testify, Calm like a bomb, Guerilla radio, Wake up, Settle for nothing...
Whatever song by Rage would be totally awesome!

If you can't enjoy Tom Morello's funky riffs then I pity you, sir. Anyway, I would buy it.

I dont think the issue with Rage is Tom's work. I believe, and this is true for me, Zach's singing/screaming and braindead, liberal, uninformed, preachy lyrics probably have more to do with it. The music itself without him....AWESOME and powerful. ZDlR kinda ruins it imo.

That is the most depressing thing I have ever heard. There can be no comparison with Fall Out Boy and RATM. Its like comparing the taste of dirt and apples. Even if you don't like them in the least bit, I don't know how you could say that (no offense to any fans of Fall Out Boy out there :D ).

"Renegates of funk" would indeed be really cool to play for all the instruments... Count me in for some RATM DLC anytime...

Prefering Fall Out Boy to RATM is the most asinine thing I have ever heard!!! OMG emo is the gheyest thing ever, but I digress, Rage Against the Machine is the rulingest band ever and would be sick to play on RB. Zack de la Rocha's delivery, Morello's awesome guitar, heavy duty bass lines and cool assed drums. I'd buy dat sheet in a heartbeat!!

Bingo. Preachy singing turns me off as it is. Preachy singing by a guy who doesn't know what he's talking about made me stop listening to RATM years ago. Morello rocks, though.

Never been a fan. Usually I don't really care about lyrics, but the Rage dude's constant whining about injustice and wah wah wah the government is bad; it's just not fun or good. I don't know much about them, but I think I remember some news thing about how the "singer" was kicked out of (or left on his own) the band because he wanted to continue whining about the government and the other band members wanted to move on. Plus, most songs I've heard by them are the usual rap faire- repetitive beats and a yabbling singer/rapper. Furthermore, they're barely rock and more along the lines of that horrible abberation of a sub-genre, "rap and roll". They're just unenjoyable to listen to on any level (for me in my opinion).

To answer your question, no. :)
We saw them in GH II and GH III, and I loved playing the songs over and over. So I'd love to see 'em in RB.

there are plenty songs by them i would pay for
I would buy every single Rage song that became available. In my opinion, Zack de la Rocha is up there with Jay-Z, Eminem, and Tupac on the list of greatest rappers. Every song would be fun to play on all instruments and it would be unique for the game. Also Tom Morello is my favorite guitarist.
