Goals before RB2 releases??

I was just curious if anyone else has any goals for their current rockband characters that they want to reach before the release of RB2. My goal is to get my drummer to 10 mil before it releases. That feat should get me somewhere in the top 500 on the psn network. I feel like 10 mil is a reachable goal for a non real life drummer. I am at about 9.1 mil right now and at 750something on psn. I figure since RB2 has a tentative release date of Nov 17th on PS3 I should have time to make it.Only the real life drummers with previous experience are hitting 11mil and more imo. So what's your goal before the release of RB2.

That sounds like that would be a very frustarting goal to achieve

mine is to download a bunch of great DLC songs to load the Rock Band 2 song list as much as possible

- Beat BWT on expert. This is very possible, just need the 5-6 hours straight to do it.
- Get better at drums. Yeah, just in general. I want to be able to play decent on hard. I kinda suck at drums right now because I have been focusing on guitar, bass, and singing mostly since I've owned it. I can do up through medium, but hard suddenly has more bass hits and I haven't separated my foot from my hands enough yet.

Well reaching 10 mil is mine too, but I'm a little ahead of you.
I'm at 9,711,000 and ranked around the mid 500's on drums but I really don't think I can get over 100 or maybe 200k more, well I might be able to reach 10 mil if I do the sock mod and since my destroyer pedal should be coming this month. I'm also a non real life drummer. :)

I want to 5 star GGaHT (not that far off) and RttH on guitar and GS FWD and TWaR (HS is already gold starred). I also want platinum guitar (at least) and vocals. Finally, I want the 100% expert vocals and drums achievements (the drums one is uncompleted due to the quality of my drums)

Upgrade my HHD. I have a 80G PS3 and still have gobs of free space. I just don't want to be 3yrs down the line and be screwed. :eek:

Popular Machanics had an article stating any 2.5" laptop HHD will work in the PS3. They put a 250G toshiba in one.

This made me lol. Just do what I did. Drop the first 25 bucks for the pre-order and then take in like 5-10 dollars a week. This makes it almost paid for by the time it's time to pick up the bundle. Or plan b. Take a bunch of the wife's old dvd's that she no longer watches and get trade in value for them at Game Stop. Some of them are only worth a buck or two, but they do nothing besides collect dust around here. And everything new we buy is on blu-ray.

- 50/50 Acheivements. Check.
- 8 Million Career score on guitar. Check. (Like, 2 days ago.)

That basically leaves:
- Complete the Endless Setlist solo on Expert/Expert. (Need a good free afternoon.)
- Get ALL the guitars. (Only the Goat Head remains)
- Complete Afterlife, Ride the Lightning, Snow, and Shockwave on expert guitar. (This probably won't happen.)

well they just dropped the price of the 20 gb one to 299 i believe and they have a 60gb one coming this summer sometime i think or early fall

I know what you mean, my goals:

Beat hard guitar (halfway through so far)
Beat medium drums (halfway through, just started playing them 2 days ago after beating easy back in December)
Get my girlfriend to play more!
I beat easy vocals back with the first time on the drums, but singing at home by yourself to the tv screen is a bit too much "40-year-old Virgin" :P

Get deeper into Expert drums.

I'm right on that cusp of running into the first roadblocks in Expert. I can beat most anything I've had thrown at me on Hard and I have about 10 songs I can get 95% or higher on in Expert. So, I'm bouncing back and forth between Hard and Expert right now. Would like to be completely on Expert by the time I can get ahold of RB2. I have more time than the XBox 360 owners since I'm a PS3 owner of RB.
