I think I remember reading something about this, but search didn't help me...
Is it possible to play WBT with one player as EXPERT and another as easy? Or does it set the difficulty as a group?

I think everyone picks their own difficulty

I think Sluggo on the scorehero forums said something about the difficulty ramping up as you go along. Some challenges will require each member to complete their sections on the Hard setting. Starting out I'm sure you can each play on your own levels, but to advance to the latter stages, you'll have to increase your difficulty.

The all-hard stuff is entirely optional, by the way. I think there's a point where the difficulty goes up to Medium, but I guess you can't keep the training wheels on forever.

^^ This is true (just in case anyone doubts you) And I do believe you can pick your own difficulties as well. But as stated, eventually to get to other gigs and stuff you'll have to move up to at least Hard.

Man, I am screwed. My wife is starting as a rookie and my friends just aren't good enough to play past medium. Oh well. Time to hunt for some more talented friends!

You'll be able to complete most of the WBT with your friends. The All-hard stuff comes up when you've pretty much unlocked everything else. Like it has been said before: The all=
hard stuff is optional... towards the end.

That is great to hear. The way I read that post from the scorehero forums was that about halfway to 3/4 through the BWT it forced you to play on expert.
Anyways...I can deal with hard. Expert is still a bit beyond my reach. I can beat a few songs on expert, but I wouldn't say I'm proficient by any means.
