Les Paul on Rock Band 2

Will the GHIII Les Paul work on Rock Band 2? I will be so pissed if not.

Pretty sure I read that all previous instruments will be compatible even back to the Xplorer. It might be in the Features Announcement on the Announcements page.

EDIT: Checked there. Couldn't find it, but I'm pretty certain I read that somewhere in the mess of info coming out right now.

Thanks for the quick answer, this made my day. At the moment I have a PS3, but I'm planning getting X360 since it's so 'guitar compatible'. Plannin' to use the Les Paul on all the Guitar Heros and Rock Bands.

Well on PS3, the Les Paul didn't work for RB, so I doubt it's going to work for RB2.

maybe activision give finally a "go" for the guitar patch, because the new cool periphals of rb work with ghwt.

but i doubt this.... they all want to sell their new guitars.....

The new World Tour guitar actually looks pretty nice. I'm not getting it though, since I like having one guitar compatible with everything. :)

Your post is kind of vague. If you're asking whether your PS3 Les Paul will work with an Xbox 360, the answer is no on all accounts. If you're asking whether an Xbox 360 Les Paul will work with Rock Band or Rock Band 2 on the 360, the answer is yes. If you're asking whether your PS3 Les Paul will work with Rock Band 2, the answer is no one knows for sure yet.

If I were you I'd get one of the full sized Squire controllers...but if it's a budget thing then meh
