All the rockband parts would be fun on any of these songs. I hope to see at least one of them eventually.

Hoobastank - Crawling in the Dark (http://youtube.com/watch?v=A2qU0YkWZIM)

P.O.D - Alive (http://youtube.com/watch?v=3s1ggIVW64Q)

Disturbed - Land of Confusion (http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&VideoID=7655825)

RA - Do You Call My Name (http://youtube.com/watch?v=17AT2qCqzIU)

RA - Violator (http://youtube.com/watch?v=ae3-EtakW1g)

My Chemical Romance - I Don't Love You (http://youtube.com/watch?v=SO9Lj0T93Xk)

Korn - Coming Undone (http://youtube.com/watch?v=857Wf4fTPn4)

10 Years - Wasteland (http://youtube.com/watch?v=ciuca4d2Ttg)

Hurt - Rapture (http://youtube.com/watch?v=nn4kL8POF0U)

Breaking Benjamin - Diary of Jane (http://youtube.com/watch?v=iTafQnXY5vY)

Trapt - Disconnected (http://youtube.com/watch?v=vCg5_8Pdpcg)

Tool - Vicarious (http://youtube.com/watch?v=hii17sjSwfA)

Three Days Grace - Animal I Have Become (http://youtube.com/watch?v=jbHn1Pgj6Zk)

Well that's just a few I can think of off the top of my head that have fun sections for each instrument and the vocals. Even if they don't make it into the game at some point at least there is a nice collection here for everyone ;)

it pains me to see good bands like Ra and Tool mixed in with that ****.

trust me... I wasn't comparing them to each other. Just pointing out that each of these songs would be fun on all the instruments and vocals provided with the game. Some of these wouldn't even be on a "best" list of mine. Just good for a game like this. ;)

Ok, first of all, welcome to the forum. Second, great job listing your local rock radio station's playlist, you wouldn't happen to have been listening to the radio while you came up with this, would you? :p. And finally, Disturbed covered Land of Confusion not Godsmack, I don't even know how you screwed this up, the video you linked to even said quite clearly "Disturbed - Land of Confusion".

I don't mean any of this to be harsh, btw. If it does come off as so, I apologize in advance.

It's a pity we can't have the original Genesis version in there!

Indeed. They did it first, they did it best.

Thanks for the welcome... been here a while but mainly just read until the final song list came out. That's why I thought this post may be a good idea. First off on the Godsmack and Disturbed fiasco... thank you for catching that. I had Godsmack on the mind while typing it in apparently and I appreciate the catch. *shame on me and sorry Disturbed... going to kick myself in head now*

As far as listening to the radio while putting the list together absolutely not. These are cd's and singles I have and was putting them down off the top of my head. I can't even remember the last time my local station played Hoobastank or RA so trust me not from a play list.

I was just trying to go through modern or semi-modern songs that would play on this game. I would love more of the classic rock but it's nice to see Harmonix is throwing in some newer.

As far as you being harsh... don't worry about it. You had an opinion and were being honest about it ;) Nothing wrong with that. Hopefully you like some of the music on this list though. Some good rock on there. Thanks again for the edit catch...

Just thought of another group I liked in the 90's that had a song that wouldn't be bad.

Paw - Jesse (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulGPKB9hlrE)

I remember listening to that while playing Road Rash ;)

Are you kidding, Mike Wengren from Disturbed one of my favorite of the newer drummers out there :D, (and by new I mean post 80's, everything before is classic) Korn rules, I like Breaking Benjamin, and that Three Days Grace song is one of the few that I like. I was simply pointing out that I hear them on the radio frequently :p

and no problem, not to shabby a cover of the Genesis classic, imo, hence the catch ;)

In my opinion, no to every one of those songs besides Tool.
