Does someone want to explain why it's ok for Activision to patch their recent release so that Rock Band strats will work with their game? This is the same Activision that prevented Harmonix from patching PS3's to use GH axes.

I think I kinda understand. Harmonix supports an open system so they can do this. It feels like dating your buddy's girlfriend after they breakup. While there's nothing wrong with it, you just don't do it.

Because it's most likely HMX preventing it not Activision.

That wasn't the case. They submitted the patch to Sony for approval. Activision put the last second cabash on it.
