Rock Blog Wednesday 10/31/07 HALLOWEEN!

It is Halloween! It kind of crept up on me this year. I didn't really have anything palnned. A few people came decked out, so I had to improvise (http://brandonbird.com/halloween_treat.html). What are you going as?

New York was fun yesterday. I was on the Sirius sattelite radio show "Level Up" with Scott Pitek and Psyche of the Frag Dolls. We played the game a bit, talked about the game, and generally just cracked jokes and had fun. The show seems really cool too so I may as well plug it - it is on Tuesdays at 2pm. Enjoy! Oh yeah, when I was heading into the studio to do the interview a woman walked past me and one of the hosts explained "that's Elvira." She was out of makeup so I didn't recognize her but how rad is that? All the way. All the way rad.

I also got to check out the MTV offices in Times Square for the first time which was kind of crazy. That place is huge. I had about an hour to kick it with the MTV PR crew who are really awesome people who I hadn't seen in a while, so that ruled. Then I saw an old friend of mine, jumped back on the Acela and was home before midnight. Some day I want to go to New York for more than 8 hours. Maybe a whole day. Maybe a weekend. Vacation!

Sounds awesome. I think Halloween crept up on a lot of people this year.
I'm actually headed to NYC in a couple weeks for a day trip. Should be a good time!

I am all set to go out as Peter Moore for Halloween. I've got the razor thin haircut, goatee, Xbox/EA T-Shirt, and a guitar controller I can randomly pause mid-performance.


It was either that, or get one of those rainbow-colored clown wigs/beards and go out as Matt Moss.

I was going to go to a Halloween party as a sex offender until I heard on CNN that someone already did this, but he was at a party where there were kids, and someone called the cops and it got very nasty for that guy lol.

Sorta like saying "bomb" in an airport or "assassinate the president" on the phone ;)

AWW!! I wish I had heard the show! You forgot to mention what channel the show comes on. I'll be tuning in for sure!

Amazing costume, I wish I had known about that earlier, I totally would have used that for my party. I ended up just being a priest, my friend was a rabbi, and my other was the Jesus described in Talladega Nights, so it kind of was funny.

Great blog, the drums will be amazing.
