Pictures inside. It is a real shame how early they get the game compared to it coming out in 20 more days. You would think if it is this ready as it seems they should push it a little earlier.

Well just because they've sent a few copies to video game magazine and various websites doesn't mean it's fully ready to launch. They need the 20 days or so to mass produce the product.

I'll never believe the line of production is the reason.

Apparently you've never seen a production line...
Full disclosure: I'm working as a manufacturing intern

HAHA, Maybe I just do not want to believe that is the issue, still I find it unfair.

Conspiracy theory, much?
They clearly targeted a certain week to release the game a long time ago. They have zero to gain from releasing it early.
So too bad. We all have to wait.

I'm hoping we can squeeze a few of these devil-in-the-details questions in to various sites that got copies, and get some solid answers for once. Like created bands in solo play, how unlocking songs works, mixed difficulties in BWT, if you can bring created characters online, etc, etc... we've made a lot of assumptions but there's very little locked down and confirmed details on anything.
Problem is gaming news sites have tons of stuff to cover and usually don't go into little details like that. We had the same problem whenever IGN covers the yearly wrestling game releases... hardcore fans want to know about create-a-character parts, how entrance animations are sequenced, etc. but they only have time to answer the obvious stuff like "Yes, Popular Guy X is in the game" from casual fans...

Well, the game is finished, and I think the production is nearly finished. I work at Gamestop, and the shipping date is 11/06/07, but it's street dated until the 20th. So, they're probably just giving it ample to time to ship, since the box is so big. So yeah, Gamestop is going to have this about a week or two early, and is going to have to wait to sell it. Unless, of course, EA decides to break the street date and allow them to sell the game as soon as it comes in...
...please?

I LOVE how the box for RB says "This game is compatable with most guitar controllers" and the GHIII box has a legal warning "USE OF ANY NON RED-OCTANE CONTROLER IS ILLEGALLLZZZ I TELLZ YA!"
