I guess it's a combination of trying out GH3 and no interesting news bits to discuss. It's okay though, I mean there's 3 weeks MAX before it kicks into high gear.

I've spent a lot of time play GH3 honestly...and most the new topics are things that have been discussed to death...still fun to lurk around though...in a week or two someplace the game is going to be sold and the forums will be a buzz again...

You're so lucky! November is going to suck so much for me. I have an exam next friday, a presentation on Monday, 3 papers due this month, one being the day after Rock Band comes out :(

I don't know how I'm going to make it through this month :(

lol I am 34 years old and thinking about finally going back to college and finishing after dropping out 3 times over 18 years (I quit high school at 16 and went straight to college and then got sidetracked a few times with real life).

I'm gonna have to spend these next few weeks picking up a spare job or two for the $170 price tag of this game (or sell a retina or kidney)

I did the exact same thing, although I was 29 when I went back to school. It's worth it as long as you have a goal. After working a long, long string of jobs I hated, I went back. Now I'm a graphic designer and making a lot more money, and more importantly, don't hate getting out of bed to go to work in the morning.

One piece of advice, if you do go back, take all the required crap that you have no interest in first. It gets it out of the way and will save you a lot of money if it turns out you're not dedicated enough. The rest is smooth sailing.

ya I am about 90% done with an AA already from the 3 times before, so all the basics like math 1 & 2, english 1 & 2, literature, etc are all taken care of (assuming these colleges in Idaho accept them from FL)

Rock Band, Call of Duty 4, Assassins Creed, WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2008, Mario Galaxy, Phoenix Wright Trials and Tribulations, and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya vol 4

6 video games and one DVD box set in the span of 3 weeks, idk how I'm gonna do it all with school and work thrown in the mix :confused:

But all I know is, all the other multimedia goes to hell on Nov 20th :cool:

since mostly everything has been announced and there are demos at bestbuy, a lot of the posting is being done in the general forum, where we talk about stuff other than rockband, like, "why aren't we talking about rockband?"

Exactly, I've been playing GH III, and doing school stuff, sadly no time for the Rock Band forums, and with no news you can expect it to be especially quiet. By November 20th there will be more activity on the forums than anyone will know what to do with. I can't say I'll be on too much, I'll be playing too much Rock Band!
