The Ion Drum kit

Ok, i dont know if this question has been asked, but i was wondering how the ION drum kit will convert to an electric drum kit? Any help would be appreciated. Im looking into drum sets as i'm very interested in playing drums, because according to a friends i have "natural talent" when i played on his kit the other day, and music is always something ive been interested in doing.

Just buy a brain like the following and connect the pads to the jacks. All you need is headphones and the stock Ion kit will act as a limited electronic kit.

Ideally, however, you would probably want to buy a separate kick pedal as well and use the provided one as a hi hat pedal.
