Yes, studio songs are much cleaner than their live parts... but some songs just work better live, in my personal opinion. The Who live tracks were great, and honestly, made me want more.

Some personal favorite live bands of mine, besides The Who.

Kiss (I would much prefer the live I wanna Rock n Roll All Nite)

I'd love to see the live version of "Children of the Sea" by Black Sabbath - I think it's much better than the studio version and would be awesome for Rock Band.

And of corse The Allman Brothers common who dosent want "One Way out" the only version is live i think

Skynyrd. The only thing Guitar Hero II was missing was "Free Bird" live. I don't get why they chose to recreate the studio version.

Also, I would much rather have live DragonForce tracks than studio songs. I would just want to laugh at how incredibly horrible they are live.

weird I was listening to the version from Here to Eternity earlier It would be so much fun

My favorite song off that album is City of the Dead I wish they put that song in at least one of their albums not just a b-side

I believe Herman Li actually joked about that in a GH3 promotional video... he couldn't beat his song, and said "they should put Dragonforce live in here, it would me much easier that way".

Pretty respectable, I think.
