Now I understand neversoft didn't have any idea what they were doing and I personally thinked ruined the franchise, but with all the problems with the GH3 Les Pauls being reported, which I am having problems with myself, is anyone worried about getting RB fr the PS3 yet? because I am. Like for instance even on a non-HDTV the notes dont quite match the music, and the controller seems to lag when you play a bunch of reoccuring notes like in Paranoid. I know the music matching the notes thing is more the game than the controller, but something doesn't seem right, so anyways I was just wondering if any other PS3 users were getting a little worried as I am?

As for issues with lag, check out this blog (Link (http://community.rockband.com/index.php?do=/public/user/blogs/view/name_spraynwipe/id_497/)).

Most of the issues that I have heard with the Les Paul have to do with the detachable neck. Many have reported there being some sort of adhesive between the connections causing problems with buttons, etc.

So to answer your question, no. I am perfectly comfortable that Harmonix has everything taken care of.

Plus the IGN dudes tested the Playstation3 version of RockBand and they said it was as running as smooth , shiny , and perfectly as the X360's

Link, please? I haven't seen much in the way of side-by-side console comparisons, and I'd enjoy reading one.

i read this article and im not talking about game lag or audio visual lag, its the controller lag and the fact the notes dont even match the music even on a non HDTV, and what makes me more mad, is that the 360 version plays just fine. so its more th ps3's processor not being able to put the sound up fast enough to match the notes, and like i said ive played the 360 version on the same tv, and it feels fine, its more the system then the game, thats why im worried

The 360 has also had problems with the LP controller, not just the PS3.
I have no worries about RB having these problems at all.I think Activision rushed this game out the door to beat RB to market and I don't believe the game was ready.

well why then dont you explain to me why the 360 version works way better than the ps3 version on the same tv, with the wireless controller, and why on the 360 version the notes actually match the music where the ps3 does not, and for the record I am a ps3 fanboy

Look, it's not a processing issue on PS3... a PSone could handle the mechanics if you asked it to. I don't have GHIII, but if there are console specific problems, that's a development issue, not a hardware one.

The problems with GH3 are more with the game itself and not really the two systems. The neck explains alot of problems that the PS3 mostly and some 360 people are having.

The lag issue is very hard to fix because I've done it 5 times and come up with 5 different results. So I don't think it's the system at all either.

After reading the blog and knowing that the neck doesn't detach I'm sure there won't be any problems.

Some Wal Marts are setting up RB demos on PS3's. I played one tonight, and the game ran smoothly, was every bit as awesome as I expected. So it's safe to assume the game doesn't have any prob on PS3, the demo guitar was wired though, so that doesn't answer any questions about wirelss syncing issues like the GH3 guitar had. If anyone goes looking at thier walmart for the demo be sure to check the Christmas section, that's where it was in mine.

yeah i saw the guy that bought the ps3 demo from walmart had the memo inside about setting it up at the end of the aisle or something in the christmas section. i thought to myself, man is it christmas time already? and walmart is having their xmas sales already. jumping the gun on black friday. they have the toshiba players for under $100 tomorrow. crazy.

The problem with GH3 is with the Controller either the LP itself or the wireless technology that is used, both PS3 and 360 owners are having problems the GH forums are filled with complaints, the 360 owners that have the xplorer are reporting that they don't have problems when using that instead of the LP same goes for the PS2 version when using the SG so it's not a problem with the game being laggy or the system it's playing on, what makes things worse is RO and Activision have yet to say a damn thing about the problem and whether they are going to do anything about it.

A big Problem for PS3 owners for both GH3 and Rock band is we have no other means of playing the game without the Guitars that come with the bundles and seeing as Rock band is using the same setup as GH3 for the PS3 version i am worried about getting Rock band, i have already put GH3 on hold because of the LP problems and i'm not sure if i want to take a risk with Rock band in case the same thing happens.

So HMX please in all that is holy and true to Rock Music release a wired PS3 controller so PS3 owners don't have the same problems with Rock band that Guitar hero 3 owners are having.

I've been very excited about both GH3 and RB and i've saved my extra
bucks(not easy on a disability income) to buy them.

I'm not a fanboy of anything but I did buy a PS3 back in july.
With all the troubles i've read about GH3 on the PS,i'm holding off
on it and I'm going to wait till after the first of the year to get RB
because i'm leery of it as well.

In fact if the music games are borked and the way they keep pushing
back the release dates for PS3 games,i'm going to get rid of the thing
period and just stick with my PC.

I have had a PS3 GH3 since Launch, and after the initial setup, I have had no problems with it whatsoever.
