How censored are they going? Damn... hell... are those going to be blocked? I know the big words are going to be blocked of course, but how high are they going to bleep? Anyone know?

But seriously, All "on the disc" songs will be censored. There has been talk of uncensored DLC. We'll just have to wait and see.

I doubt those will be blocked. I distinctly heard the "nature is a whore" part in In Bloom, and that seems as bad as damn or hell.

You know I was wondering about this myself. Even GH III censored the SOB part of Devil went down to Georgia. It just blanks out for that one word. Which I guess I understand because at the midnight launch I've noticed a lot of parents buying it for their kids. Course if my 12 year old heard that song on the radio they don't censor it there. Go figure.

But on the same note even a song that doesn't have necessarilyhave a "dirty word" in it but the topic is risque. The one example that comes to mind would be Korn in some of their songs. (No need to flame for saying that band in this post...check the Ultimate Setlist for that please). Shoulds songs like that be on the DLC?

Unless they get a radio edit version to put in the game and insert the edited word in, but they'll still let you say the swear if you know it. <-----that's been confirmed by hmxsean himself.

Oh alrighty, I didn't see that post, my apologies. It is rated T for Teen, so I'd imagine some things will be left alone. Words like ass, slut, whore, damn, and maybe a few others. But words like ****, ****, and mother****er shouldn't be in the game :D

I should qualify what I said with an "I'm 90% sure" they said whore. Then again I was playing the drums and I could have just heard it in my head because I was expecting it.

I really like the 'Unnecessary Censorship' segments that Jimmy Kimmel does sometimes. I think Rock Band should do a bunch of spurious censorship cuts to make the songs seem filthy:
