Television, Neil Young and Built To Spill

Does anyone know if these bands are unwilling to work with Harmonix? They would be great bands to have in Rock Band and I'm not sure why they haven't made it in yet, especially Neil Young. I mean he's one the greatest rockers of all time and he's got a lot of songs that would great on guitar and singing. And Television has some really cool sounding guitar is their songs too. I think Television and Built to Spill might not be big enough to have in the game though. Hopefully we'll be seeing DLC from these bands soon...

i'm not a huge built to spill fan, but i've been listening to "perfect from now on" lately... really good record.

neil young - cinnamon girl right? 'nuff said.
television - elevation has a great guitar solo and some interesting pauses
built to spill - let's start with carry the zero and go from there. i'm sure it will be wildly popular.

I think cinnamon girl would be really awesome, or cowgirl in the sand, but I'm not sure if those have masters or not. And anything from keep it like a secret or perfect from now on would be great and those have to have masters since they were built to spills two first major label releases.

Great suggestions. My Television pick would be "Evil," but anything from that album would rule.

Holy crap. Seriously. Three of my favorite artists, and they would fit rock band beautifully.

As far as Television goes, the entire Marquee Moon album would be wonderful, though I know it would never sell. See No Evil, Venus, Elevation, they're all great. But seriously, I just wrapped my mind around doing the song Marquee Moon as a full band. I suggest you all do so as well. I think I would die.

Neil Young is a no-brainer, and I can't believe something like Cinnamon Girl hasn't already been included. Cowgirl in the Sand caused a brain-melt almost equal to Marquee Moon. Hows about Cortez the Killer, Powderfinger, Hey Hey My My (Into the Black) or something a little peppier like Walk On.

Built to Spill has long been an underdog pick for me. Not sure they're big enough to get into one of these games. But hey New Pornographers got in and I'd say Built to Spill is about as well known. Keep It Like a Secret would be an amazing album download choice. It's their most streamlined and refined guitar rock album. Perfect From Now On is my personal favorite but that one probably wouldn't translate as well. They're one of those bands that people may not know but would be PERFECT for rock band.
