That was so difficult to get into on my own. I think it took like a year or 2 for me to actually catch it's registration open, hah. But I got lucky as hell finally.

its not even for any type of 'premium' torrents or anything, you need to get invited just to download torrents on that site, its pretty hard to register on that site.

I just joined last night and the other 2 posts were rock band related. Is this how new users get treated here? Maybe I should just go post a bunch of random crap all over the forums to generate some respect....

its not that im treating you like crap, but why would I waste an invite one someone I barely know at all, and for all I know, you could just be traveling from forum to forum(im not saying that you are, but I don't know) searching for an invite.

I'm sorry, I didn't realize that asking for a simple invitation to become a member at a website was like asking for someone to donate me a kidney. I will definitely keep that in mind next time. And no, I am not going from forum to forum asking for invites, I just so happened to be anxiously anticipating the release of rock band (the sole reason why I didn't buy GHIII) and thought that signing up here would help to pass the time. BTW, when I registered my account here 2 days ago I didn't even know about Demonoid (which I learned about yesterday).

well in all honestly you do get a lot of ppl spaming forums looking for invites. it was hard enough to catch them on an open day, stupid work:mad: , but when you do join they only allow you about 5 invites or so (cant remember rite now) so they will normaly only give them to pll they trust cause if the person you invite gets in trouble with mods you usally get in trouble for inviting him

How would I have known that you only get 3 invites a year? When I first asked, it was because I was under the impression (since I had just learned about that site) that the members would be able to invite more people in than that. I do not have a membership, that is why I asked for an invite in the first place.

If you don't want to give out an invite to somebody that you don't know personally, that's fine, it's your prerogative. All I asked was for somebody to be kind enough to send me an invite. I did not ask for people to give me a bunch of "Well, I would, but....." because that helps in no way, shape or form. If I wanted that, I would have rephrased the question to read, "Is anybody here registered with demonoid.com? If so, would you please tell me that you are out of invites and would if you could?"

What rules do you speak of? I'm pretty sure that this thread was posted in the "General" forum, where it specifically states "This is where all off-topic conversations should go. Probably not very rock.". I don't see how this can be labeled as a violation of the rules when a topic about the New England Patriots being 7-0 isn't labeled as such. Now, maybe if I came into the forums and talked trash about Rock Band that might be considered a violation of the rules. But, that isn't the case. As I stated before, I am eagerly anticipating the release of this game and signed up at this forum to help pass the time. I came across Demonoid yesterday and got curious about it, so I started this thread to see if anybody would help me out and send me an invite. I assumed that this was the section for this type of thread since it wasn't Rock Band related. It's no big deal and I don't absolutely HAVE to have an account. I just thought that since I always make sure I have a 2.0 ratio or higher on every torrent that I seed, that I would be able be a big help. However, it seems like the only responses that I have gotten to this are all negative and I am racking my brain to try and figure why there has been so much contempt directed towards me and this thread (which was not meant to turn out like this). Is it just because I am new to this forum (well, I haven't had much experience with forums in general)?

People have been coming here and talking trash about Rock Band (GH people). I guess you just came here and asked for an invite to a very hard site to get into as one of your first posts and I think thats what set people off. Also what I said about "premium" torrents and the response to it, anybody can download the new ones regardless if they have an account or not but the old ones you have to have an account for. They say that they usually open the registration at the beginning of a month but they didn't do it yesterday (the beginning of November).
