i was wondering if anybody knows about any improvements made on the mic? i'm perfectly fine with my RB1 mic, but i haven't heard about any improvements on that peripheral. i was also wondering if anybody knows of prices for the individual instruments? i was looking to get the guitar and drums.
Another quick question regarding searching in the forums. is there a paraticular way or wording to make it more effective, because it seems i dont' always get the best results when searching for things i'm looking for

It's going to be remodeled to feel and look and weigh like a real mic.
I also heard buttons would be put onto it, so you wouldn't have to use a controller, but I'm not sure if thats true or not.

Yeah, that's the one i heard about the buttons for, so the rock band mic is really just made to feel more like a real mic.

Yeah, I think your right, I think the madcatz mic has too many buttons, i just want A, B, up and down, nothing else.

Amazon.com has the new drums at $90 and the new guitar at $70.

I've got a USB - XLR cable and an EV 257 that I had laying around (previous life as a sound engineer... still have a bunch of gear). Works great, but the gain is a little low. For singer type singers that sing out it's great. Much better clarity and control. If you are rockband trained and sing kind of breathy or in a head voice it doesn't work so well.
