i just recently saw this on the RB2 site, and got really interested =] gives me even more of a reason to annoy roomates. ;)
Did they talk about this feature at all at E3 or have there been any vids about it? I can't wait to try this out! =]

the first vid is the drum trainer.
the feature shows you beats, fills, and lets you jam along with your MP3s.

I know, I'm excited too! I can't wait to see what's at the end of the trainer. The playing over MP3s is also awesome, just need to buy that new drumkit and the cymbals.

Even though I play on Expert, I'll still use it - at least try it.

no. they are just stored on your console. if you had Led Zeppelin songs on your console, you can jam to them.
its gonna be awesome, but I don't think I can keep up with John bohnam yet. :)
and the link was from another thread that nobody bothered to look at. so I borrowed it.

thanks for the vid! i really wanna see someone playing to some random mp3s though.
i'll probably rock out with aqua, then move on to children of bodom, and bring it home with jamiroquai lol (those are the only albums currently stored on my ps3 til i upgrade the hard drive to a 500gb lol)

I knew you would reply with something like that, with you having Jimmy Page as your avatar. :)
I really wann try some Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and maybe some Rush. because we still don't have Freewill or Spirit of the radio on the game yet.

You can technically do that right now and just play the song really loud on the 360 player and just slam on those pads without having them plugged in <_<
Nice link, I hadn't seen the drum trainer vid.

My TV creates a significant amount of lag though. I notice this at the beginning of a song before the drums come in or during a fill; the sounds register about half a second after I hit the pad. I always found this somewhat annoying because my fills always sounded off. If I wanted it to be on time, I'd have to estimate how much quicker I'd need to hit the pads. Playing the Drum Trainer over an mp3 probably wouldn't work so well for me.

Sounds like the perfect excuse to get a new TV:
You need it to learn how to play drums ;)
