So I read Spraynwipes blog, and I just have a question about these challenges. I left the same question as a comment on his blog, but im sure thats going to get buried.

These challenges, how many other players do you have to have playing? For instance, if there is a challenge for longest guitar streak can I play that by myself under my bands name? Or do I have to have 2-4 other players playing with me?

The short of it, is can I do these challenges all by my lonely?

Also, I readily admit I did no search for this topic. Sorry if its already been asked.

I think it was mentioned that you can always to the challenges solo (unless it specifically states otherwise as part of the challenge, like requiring a singer), but it might be far more difficult to compete. For example, 4 people will almost always score higher than 2, but you might find it easier to get a guitar streak by your lonesome.

And one of the challenges they showed was something like the best score on Anyway You Want It, but a singer must be in your group. So if you aren't singing, you'd ovbiously need another player to do that one :P

I'm still curious as to how the leaderboards will deal with the amount of different instrument & difficulty combinations. Right now, it seems that the people who'd top the leaderboards for the "Any Way You Sing It" challenge would be full 4-person expert bands. Anything less than that and you wouldn't stand a chance of matching the top score.

Of course a band of all expert players playing near flawlessly are going to have an advantage on the GLOBAL leaderboard, but that doesn't preclude a person from competing amongst friends and commrades of the same skill level.

As an example, I still enjoy leaderboard competition in Rock Band 1 despite the fact I rarely crack the top 1000.
