Gold Stars

First of all, anyone else think I Get By sucks for vocals on expert? Only song I actually have trouble completing.

Also, anyone know if every song can be gold starred for vocals? I just got it for Flirtin' With Disaster on expert, which is curious since I can't seem to gold star it on any other difficulty level. I have attempted it on several of my stronger songs and can't seem to gold star any of them. Even when I hit 100% and use all my energy. Just curious.

Even if you full combo a few songs with stasticlly perfect overdrive usage you still cant gold star every vocal song. (i.e. Seven by Vagiant)

*grouch* Vasoline certainly cannot be gold starred on vocals . . .

I also heard Mississippi Queen can't be gs'd. There are a few songs I've fc'd consistently and never got gold (i.e. Orange Crush, Wave of Mutilation) but I can't say it's not possible.

I Get By, though not the easiest to get, is not my most difficult expert song. Gimme Shelter still beats it for me. I gs'd I Get By eventually- just keep singing it and it will probably just 'click' for you as it did for me. Really, it was like I went through once, did mediocre, and then the next time FC'd the thing. I suddenly just heard all the pitches I needed to tweak to keep my streak.

100% isn't enough to GS Expert songs. YOu need the optimal overdrive paths, which can be found here for vox:

Sweet, awesome posts, thanks for the info. Although I kind of hate all you people that can sing lol. So far, FWD is the only song I can gs...makes sense, it's always been my best...I've come real close on a bunch of songs, but always seem to be 1 or 2 k short ><

No, I suck at I Get By. I don't even think they're real notes lol. Gimme Shelter and Wave of Mutilation are kind toughies for me as well, at least for getting good scores.

Once again, thanks for the posts, very helpful, and I'll keep trying to bump up my scores.

One last thing...can songs be gs'd in band world tour?
