Questions about the graphics

Hi, I just got Rock Band today for xbox 360 and noticed immiadetly that the graphics were worse than in the youtube videos for the 360 version.

The textures arent as sharp, frankly it looks like Im playing the game on a Wii. Can I fix the graphics somehow or is this the way or can I pimp the graphic somehow?

Looking forward to an answer, the game freaking rules :D I love the way my dad tries to sing the french songs^^ Absolutely the best game I´ve bought for my 360.

Your Xbox is set up for hi-def gaming, right? Mine certainly looks fantastic, so I'm not sure what the issue would be.

Yeah, what kinda TV are you playing on?

If YouTube's ****ty quality looks better than your TV, that's kinda sad. Maybe it's just the European version.

I can think of 1 french song... "Manu Chao". Exclusive to EU or downloadable in the U.S.. sounds like a eurovision entry.

Anyway, shouldn't be a difference tbh. Personally havn't noticed the difference and running off a standard def tv myself.

Game looks great on my 52" TV. I love the way RB looks. Now whenever i see a GH game it kinda hurts my eyes....

I have a 50 inches plasma tv, maybe youtube has a bad quility...but I somehow feel like the textures are worse than in both screenshots and videos.

I know what you mean! When I saw Guitar Hero once in 5 months, I was shocked to see Harmonix had created that. I also hate that kurplunk sound the old game had. Now we can blame it on Activision!:D

Hmm, you can lock this threa now...guess it was just my imagination playing me a mindtrick. Game looks about the same as on youtube. Sorry to have bothered you all, just got the impression that hte textures were supposed to be sharper.

the main problem is rb is olny 720p not 1080p. i hope they have this fixed for rb2.
i just had a sweet 4 thof july party with i set up a 150in out door screen with a qsc plx 3405 with some huge floor standing speakers(i did blow up 1 speaker though. the foam suround went bad) it looked sweet i was running a runco 710 pj with has mor videoag than my 46in sharp 1080p lcd

What kind of A/V cable are you using for your 360? That matters a lot too.

I'm using an HDMI cable and I've got a Sharp Aquos LCD TV and it looks MUCH better than the YouTube videos.

Im not sure if my xbox has an HDMI cable since I bought it from a classmate. But one of the cables can switch from regular mode to high definition. Anyway my plasma tv is half HD I´ve been told.
