I want to do this right and have everything ready to rock when the game comes out later this month.
Does anyone know what kind of mic stand I could buy that will fit the Rock Band mic? I don't want to buy one only to have it not fit. I also will want one that can adjust so that I can use it while sitting down with the drums (in the unlikely event that I'm able to sing and play drums at the same time).
Secondly, I'm going to buy a throne for the drum kit. I'm assuming any old cheap throne will work?
Lastly, how are the online vocals going to work?
-Are you going to be singing into the headset or the mic?
-Are your other bandmates going to be able to hear your vocals?
-Do all of the peripherals have ports on them for a headset?
Getting excited! Any help is appreciated.

k, they said they will have mic stands available to buy at some time
any throne should work that your comfortable with and you can even use your couch
you can sing into a headset or mic
the other bandmates will hear the original track online but you could decide if you want to hear you or the original track if your all in the same room
and ive heard all the periphs have ports for headsets in them

A boom mic will work well for singing while playing drums and will not get in your way.
They can be had for $20.00+
And most mic stands have a one size fits all clip to hold almost any mic

Nope.
I got a generic mic stand at Wal-Mart. Just straight up stand not flexible or anything but I prefer it that way (to flip around and showboat of course). It was $20.
My throne is an adjustable seat I got for my keyboard. That was maybe $10 and makes my ass happy long time.
You can't hear the vocalist online. You may use a headset it may plug into instruments.

Really? Yeah, you're right because there wasn't a stand in the box where that dude was showing pictures of the bundle (on some thread, I can't remember which).
Well, whatever. I'll get one... eventually. I'm not a mic stand enthusiast, so I probably couldn't tell the difference between a good mic stand and a rake.

From what I undrestand the 360 does have ports on the perifs for mics.
If you have a PS3 a blue tooth headset will work

That is a curious question. How will you voice chat with other players online, say in between songs and so? (360)
