View Full Version : Is there a way to delete part of a pack?

I've decided to give up on Burn because it's even harder, and even more repetitive (so even less fun) than RttH (which I still hate now that I can beat it), with a snoozefest worth half the song before that to boot.

I don't want an instant fail song looming and it's no big loss because even if I somehow mastered the song, playing it would still be negative fun.

But when I go into memory management (Xbox), I only see the items as I purchased them. Since I bought the NiN songs as a pack, is there a way to just delete Burn?

If I were to delete the pack, would I be allowed to download the individual songs or are they considered different items? I know there's a warning somewhere about being careful not to buy the same song twice via single and packs.

You can't delete individual tracks from a pack, and separate tracks are considered a new purchase. Sorry.

At least on the 360 you have the option to double-dip, PSN won't even let you do that (supposedly, 360 owner here).

Wow.

How ironic that this would happen on the week I finally caught up on all past DLC.

Guess the other 2 songs have to be sacrificed. Can't believe I threw away 3 songs' worth of money just because I really hate one of them.

"Burn" isn't even that hard. Maybe you could just practice it more?

How can you double dip? I tried to do this with the Bowie pack (to get rid of "Heroes"), and it took me right back to the pack page that I already purchased.

Yeah, I figured someone would be sure to get a shot in.
Frankly, it's not worth practicing if it's this unfun.
I stuck with Blackened, I stuck with Thrasher, heck, even Blinded by Fear offered more variation in its fast sections.

Burn doesn't seem to have any redeeming qualities.

What happens if you try to download individually through the music store?

It shows each song individually as "purchased" does that not work?

The cool thing about the 360 is once you own it you own it. So if you deleted it you can download it again for free. The other thing is you may want it back with the no fail mode in RB2. As it has been stated though you will have to erase the whole pack. This is the only problem with packs Vs. Individual tracks, but packs saves money.

So good luck man but at least you can get it back when you want:)

Exactly the same on the PS3 too for people that don't know. Except you can't delete individual tracks, but if you delete them all you can redownload anything you want.

seriously dude... practice the song. learn to play it. once you do it's pretty rewarding actually. you gotta get into NIN and treat those songs as something a little "different". nobody mkes music like Reznor... and that's a good thing. something totally different every now and then is cool.
