I agree that Linkin Park would be awesome, no matter what the people say on these forums. Linkin Park is a well put together band. The music has such an effect with life, each time I hear one of their songs.

LP is a great band...I have all CD;s, seen them live....their music is great and I think some of the songs would be translated well into RB

I totally agree! Though their new music I don't really like at all (Minutes to Midnight=blegh), their older music is very good.

I don't know, that seemed kind of rude, considering this is the "Ultimate Set List" section, and the OP simply wanted to voice his opinion. As far as I could see, no one typed like that.

As for Linkin Park, I agree that their music is underrated, though as for Rock Band, it would be hard to make DLC for them because of the fact that there are two different singers with two distinct styles. If HMX can pull it off, though, I'd definitely buy a couple songs. :D

Dude, just my opinion. I like their music. I find that for the most part I only hear people bashing them, calling them hacks and bad musicians. Therefore: underrated.

Underrated means that no one gives them the good recognition that they deserve when they aren't getting any recognition at all.

Linkin Park has gotten tons of publicity over the years and just because it is negative for the most part doesn't make them underrated, it just makes them a target.

I won't bash people's music and any requests that are made, for two reasons

1: Fall Out Boy made the main setlist. If they can make it, anyone can.

2: The setlist is finalized, so anything added will be DLC and I won't have to buy it, so just wish away.

Underrated or not, I would like to see an album from Linkin Park as DLC...I went to a concert on the behest of my roommate, liked the energy they put into a live show, and there is music that is much worse in subject/intent then anything I have heard from LP.

Knowledged. Really? Man, sucks that liking this band makes me less knowledged about music. I suppose it's a real insight into all of my tastes and preferences. It really makes me think about all of the different types of music I listen to, from rap/metal to rap/rock. Also, forgive me for misusing the word underrated.

If LP make it into this game, it would be awesome, but like previously stated, Mike and Chester have two completely different vocal styles, one being rap, and most of their songs don't have much variety in the guitar department. One of their new songs with a solo would be nice though, like In Pieces or The Little Things Give You Away.

I dont think that this was the topic that was being discussed at all. The person that started this post would disagree. The DLC for this game needs to be diverse in order to bring many people to the game that maybe do not like most of the songs that come with the game at launch.

Linkin Park is a really good band who put on a great show. I have seen them several times, each time the show is amazing. Their songs are great, I love the fact that there are two singers with different styles, and since I have like every song they have ever done memorized, I would love to sing them on this game. Please crank out some LP DLC.

I would like to see some LP in RB, they have some good songs and their music has a nice feel to it. I don't care what you stuck up *****s say in forums, your just bashing on others for liking something you don't because you are insecure in other ways. So your kind just makes me laugh. And Chester Bennington is one of the best screamers/singers I have heard. Most people can't transition themselves between screaming/singing the way he can. I like most of their older stuff though like the albums Hybrid Theory and Meteora.

Linkin Park is awesome and should be in RB, how anyone could disagree is a mystery to me... So their Minutes To Midnight album was a little weak (though I still liked it) but there is no denying that their older stuff rocks, to try is to fail at life and at rock.
