1) Gears of War
Easily the best shooter game on the XBOX 360 and a clear rival to Halo in every sense. The game far surprasses any experience I've ever had from playing Halo and Augustus Cole cracks me up every time I turn the game on.
2) skate.
Unexpected? Maybe. This game kind of came out of nowhere for some people but for those of you who think the last...oh I don't know 5 Tony Hawk installments have been totally horrible and wanted a realistic, very graphic whoring game, get this. It is the best looking game on the XBOX 360 in my opinion, SD or HD.
3) Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (GOTY Edition)
Perhaps the best RPG to ever hit consoles and the PC. This version is just like the original but comes with two expansion packs that would otherwise cost money and with all the downloadable content, you will never finish the game! After months of playing and doing side-quests and guilds, I haven't touched the main storyline.
4) Forza Motorsport 2
Maybe not the newest driving game on the block, but definitely the most tried and true to the simulation racing. The online aspect of the game is completely amazing and so is the single-player. If you want the racing game every one is still playing and tons of vehicles to pick from (DLC coming out constantly), pick up Forza.
5) The Orange Box
Personally, my favorite XBOX 360 game right now. Not only does it come with Half-Life 2, Episode One, and the newer Episode 2, it comes with the new games, Portal and Team Fortress 2. Many people would of paid $60 for Portal and Team Fortress 2 alone, but when you pair the best multiplayer game out right now (TF2) and the most ingenious puzzle game out there (Portal) with the revamped Half-Life games, you get the most stunning game out there. Do not listen to the naysayers who say it's graphics are behind the times, one look at the shading and bloom effects and you will fall in love all over again.

G.O.W. - Own it, loved it when it first came out, my friend and I played the crap out of it, it never gets played anymore....I'm not a fan of the multiplayer for some reason.

Skate. - If you like skateboarding, buy this game. I love this game...I create realistic videos with little clips from this game creating lines, doing gaps etc. One of my fav. games right now.

FM2 - Another game I played the crap out of. I made millions, modded all my cars, still like it for the customization factor, but I needed a break from the "serousness" of the game which leads me to...

Project Gotham Racing 4 - I love this game. The in car view is unlike anything else out there. SO MANY exotics and now bikes makes the experience unique as well. With a more "arcade" feel when compared to FM2, it's easy for anyone to just pick up and play and have a fun time with it.

Another game not on your list - - - Rainbow Six: Las Vegas - This game pwns all other FPS right now. New maps for multiplayer ( locally and online ) other DLC, people alwasy on...overall my favorite FPS right now. MUST BUY....

1. Gears Of War - I think it's better then Halo to tell you the truth.

2. Bio-Shock - A truly beautiful game in Story, Design, Graphics and Gameplay.

3. Oblivion - I don't even know how I came to like this game so much I thought Elder Scroll on Xbox was horrible, but this game did something right.

4. Dead Rising - A new franchise that was just plain enjoyable for once.

5. Skate - Finally a new skateboarding franchise is done right. I loved THPS series, but we needed a new outlook on it.

I can probably list many other games, but these are I think my top 5 for now. Plus they all have tons of replay value for longer legs.

Yea, dude, I loved the single player and playing co-op w/ my friend (beat it twice), but I really disliked the multiplayer and haven't played it since I beat it... Still worth it tho, for the single player/co-op.

Skate, I like...not love, it's missing a few things here and there, but it's the first of the "series" so...good game.

FM2, I played the crap out of that, but it's starting to wind down in playing time.

1. Halo Three-
Amazing game, surpasses most other FPS games out for the 360 right now. Graphics are clear and easy to see, not usally dark like with gears of rainbow six. Good run-n-gun game

2. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas-
Most realistic shooter out there in my opinion. Great multiplayer, tons of game modes. Plenty of DLC and moderately difficult and very engaging storyline.

3. NCAA Football 08-
One of the best in the series thusfar. Fun to play through Campus Legend mode.

4. Bioshock-
Amazing graphics, the best water effects I've ever seen in a game. Amazing story, too. Unfortunately, the replay value is absolutely ZERO.

5. Timeshift-
So much better than Gears of War. Graphics are almost identical to Gears. Not so much gore, but if that doesn't bother you, then this is the choice. Great weapons selection and dismemberment there is plenty of.

5. Guitar Hero 2/3 - perfect party games. always fun to play, even after the 1 billionth time.

4. Gears of War- Awesome online or off.

3. Halo 3- Great way to end the series. will keep me busy for quite awhile.

2. Bioshock - one of the freshest to come out, ever. was a blast to play. everyone should try it.

1. Oblivion- the best game of all time- bar none. if i had to survive off one game for the rest of my life, i would pick oblivion. it consumes you in its epic awesomeness

1. The Orange Box - You are a fool to pass up not one, not two, not even three...but FIVE games for the price of one. Not even that, Half Life 2 is an amazing game, as well as its proceeding episodes. Portal is sheer genius and its a mind bending puzzle FPS. Team Fortress 2 is just a riot, nuff said.

2. The Darkness - Excellent game, even more excellent comic books. The game is based off of the 90's comic book The Darkness, a tale of a young man, just turned 21, who inherits the powers of darkness. If you like the classic NY style Italian mafia story then you would like The Darkness.

3. Full Auto - Burnout with guns...nuff said.

4. Fuzion Frenzy 2 - Not many people liked this game, but thats because they suck. This game is great fun when you have some friends over. Makes an excellent drinking game!!!

5. Call of Duty 3 - Superb installment of the Call of Duty series. Loved this game.

^ you like some terrible games.

Darkness- completely average. cool story, crappy gameplay.
Full Auto - awful.
Fusion Frenzy 2 - first one was better. The second one is just broken and doesn't play well, even in a group.

Gears of War
A Must Have title for every Xbox 360 owner. Best Multiplayer game and better than Halo 3 IMO.

Naruto: Rise of a Ninja
I haven't even played it yet but I know, if you are a Naruto fan and the moment the japanese audio is released via DLC, this game will be awesome.

Bioshock
One of the best shooters out there, especially because of the perfect atmosphere.

Must Have's still to come this month:

Mass Effect
Will probably be the biggest and best West RPG ever.

Assassin's Creed
This will be awesome. Spectacular graphics, fun gameplay and a story with a lot of interesting surprises, I guess.

Rockband
Do I really have to say anything? ;)

Okay... those were six...

Oblivion is not the best RPG to hit PCs. It shows you dont know much about PC RPGs.

Bioshock, Halo 3, Gears of War, Mass Effect, Two Worlds, Dead Rising, Saint's Row, Too Human, Conan, Age of Conan, Assasin's Creed, Call of Duty 4, Crackdown... these are good reasons to own a 360. Although Im hugely dissapointed by the RPG selection. I mean, now a bunch of japanese RPGs are gonna be infecting the 360. I like em but they dont justify 60-70 dollars.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who liked full auto, not even close to my top five but still a very good game.

I don't have a 360 yet but to me, it looks like my favorites will be

Halo 3
Skate (the best skating game I have ever played, kills every Tony Hawk game ever)
GOW
Grand Theft Auto 4 (is gonna have more content for 360)
and I don't know any more. It looks like all the other games I want are also on other consoles.

3. fight night round 3 - pure pwnage of a game, can make anyone a fan of the game

4. gh3 - fun game

5. bioshock - don't really recommend this too highly though. it was a damn near perfect

1. Halo Series - I am NEVER going to get tired of these games. I played the first two all the time, eventually on Xbox Live for Halo 2 when I got my 360 and loved and still love every moment of each game. Some things could definitely be improved but I adore the campaign. Multiplayer is the fastest and most dramatic that I have ever seen, again, each game. The Halo Series really defined my love of games in general.
2. Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee - By far the best singleplayer I have ever seen. Best graphics until next-gen games, I think. My father and I used to play this constantly together and I would catch him up late trying to get past my save points. Hehe. This game is just perfect for people who do not wish to purchase Xbox Live and own either an Xbox OR an Xbox 360.
3. Guitar Hero II - Even though I haven't finished hard it always makes me want to go back and play my fingers numb. Local multiplayer cannot be beaten, except by the Halo series.
4. Rainbow Six Series - I returned to Rainbow Six 3 today and did not regret it. The graphics may not be the best but with only two games of about 10 people total playing over Xbox Live you should not really fret about them. The campaign is superb, always a fighting moment. I love games where you can make subtle changes in path, making each time you play different. Rainbow Six Vegas multiplayer is just a big blast. Every single time I play, there are no real "campers" or people who completely own the map. You really need to know where you team-mates are otherwise you walk right into a trap, even if you enemy doesn't know that they have laid one out. I love the life-like graphics, the intense gameplay and the ingame abilities. Closing a door just as someone opens it and them not being able to do anything about it except try again is, in my opinion, hilarious. The only problem with these games is that if you do it other people will do it to you. (I apoligize for this section being so long but it needs the credit that it deserves).
5. Star Wars KOTOR - By far the best adventure, turn-based games I have played. Sadly, it got really boring in the last year and I leave it up to family and friends to play them. I loved the fact that as you play you affect your allies and enemies. However, I would have prefered a FPS or TPS version of this game above a turn-based genre that it is.

I think I'll just leave it like that and be done with this! Haha. It truely was so hard to choose..
