So after being stuck on three out of four songs in Lou's Inferno (it's so weird typing my name without referring to myself), I decided to just buy out all the bonus songs, throw some coconut rum into some Mr. Pibb, and just play through them all once...

I just played FCPREMIX for the first time, and I hate to admit it, but I'd never really heard anything by The Fall Of Troy, and I'm freakin' in love! Song is freakin' amazing, and maybe it's just the pretty healthy buzz I've got going on, but the notechart was fairly intense. Not intense as in the overwhelming "OMFG I hate you Eric Johnson!!" kind of way, obviously, but intense in a fun way. I've heard complaints that the notechart's weak, or not accurate, or whatever, and I wasn't really paying attention, but really, it was fun. I'm sure I'll be playing it a lot in the future...

That all being said, The Fall Of Troy is f*cking amazing! So basically, if I were to start looking for songs and/or albums from them, what would be some suggested listening? 'Cause, just like in radio and music videos, the band's best songs aren't normally the ones selected for stuff.

Where should I start with this band?

And if they only have one or two albums, I guess this whole thing is moot.

They have 3. The Fall of Troy, Doppelganger, and Manipulator.

Doppelganger is the one that got me into them.. so I recommend that one to start. The other two are very good as well.

I love the song, hate the note chart. Definitely doesn't fit.

youre forgetting one of their best works, the Ghostship EP. also, there's their old stuff as recorded by their old name The 30 Years War. its not as good but if anyone wants me to send it to them i can.

and FCPREMIX is one of their worst songs IMO. FCPSITSGEPGEPGEP(the original) is better. their singles are always the more poppy, radio friendly songs that i don't like. if you want the good fall of troy stuff, listen to songs like "i just got this symphony goin' ", "rockstar nailbomb!" or Ghostships I, IV, and V

Ah, I did forget that stuff. Whoops.

I actually like FCPREMIX more than FCPSITSGEPGEPGEP, though. And I love Mouths Like Sidewinder Missiles.

I HATE FCPSITSGEPGEPGEP....buuuuuut other people like it, so check it out if you want. I really don't like the majority of their self titled cd, so I'd say start with Doppelganger. Manipulator is pretty cool too.

And they're redoing the Ghostship EP soon, so I'd say wait till that happens to check that one out.

Doppelganger should definitely be your first. It's produced well and it's contains tighter versions of their old songs off their first album. After get Manipulator then their Self Titled. At least that's how i did it.

if they got a better singer i'd dig this band since they kind of remind of dillinger escape plan, except less chaotic
