I searched and couldnt find this anywhere. On some songs there will be no sound on some parts, like on the opening of should i stay or should i go, and Critical acclaim, I dont know what the problem would be, i tried it on 6 different tv's and i still get the same problem, anyone know why?

I've got the exact same problem, on my 360, in some songs where only the guitar is playing, I'm playing notes but no sound. the rest of the song is normal but its so irritating. Its like this on for example the opening of Should I Stay or Should I Go and Afterlife, on the fast B-O-B-Y-B-O-B-Y-R-G part. What can u do to fix it????? :(:(:confused:

I have the same exact problem on my 360 with Should I Stay or Should I Go and a few other DLC songs such as Inside the Fire and Peace of Mind. Also, interestingly enough, the vocals cut out on a few songs like Moving in Stereo. Is there anything that can be done to fix this?

Delete the songs and your DLC cache file and redownload the songs.
That's fixed some of these issues, but sadly not all of them.

I have the same problem on "Should I Stay or Should I Go," as well as "Bang a Gong/Get It On," where certain guitar notes are not audibly heard, despite hitting them correctly. While I'm relieved to know it isn't just me, it's frustrating to see there isn't a solution. Hopefully this will be fixed on RB2, as I don't want to re-download my DLC...

Still having the same issue with Rock Band 2. I even tried re-downloading Bang a Gong with no luck. This sucks

I had the same problem and after reading the last post, i checked my red cable, it wasnt plugged in all the way and the problem is solved. That is very strange indeed.
