do you need a special cable or any equipment for XBL besides a computer? Me and my friend are arguing over it because he wants to get songs for ghII and the ghIII demo.

you need either wifi or an ethernet cable to connect your xbox to a router/modem.

look in the back of your computer, there should be a (usually blue or grey) cable that runs from your computer to a router or a modem(if you dont have a router). thats the cable that you have to plug into the back of your 360 to connect to Live, if you don't have Wifi that is.
