Tried looking this up in a search, but no luck so here I go. I have a USB microphone already, so do I still have to buy the microphone from RB to play it on Xbox 360? Or will my Xbox only recognize the RB mic?

from what i've heard it should work. thats why they are selling the game by itself- its for people who already have a mic or a guitar.

A Harmonix Rep has said that every USB Mic they tried to use with Rock Band works, but there is still a very small chance that you have one of the rare mics that don't work. Please note that accordingly to the same Rep, they have yet to find one that doesn't work, so it's very unlikely yours won't work!

Yep. I still refer to my previous post though. There is a small chance, no matter how unlikely, that you have the one Mic/Headset that doesn't work :)

I'm buying the bundle, but I'm planning on selling the guitar and microphone since I have a GH2 and GH3 guitars. Or I may just keep the guitar if I like it more :) So worst case I just won't sell the microphone.

Ha, if I use the headset for my microphone, I could (in theory) play the guitar and sing at the same time! (or drums for that matter) That will be something fun to experiment with.

Yes, you can say something like "pow" into the mic and it will register it as a tamborine hit. Or you can just ignore those parts completely because there is no penalty for not doing them besides getting a lower score.
